Forgive Me FOAMer for I Have Sinned

April 27, 2017 By David Marcus Leave a Comment

It has been 1 year and 2 weeks since my last post.

The past year has been rich in technical problems as well as personal and professional changes.  While almost all of the personal and professional issues have been good, the technical problems were frustrating to say the least.  And yet, through the continued kindness of the patron saint of EM bloggers – Dr. Mike Cadogan – this site is finally back up. Hopefully it’s here to stay.

Although personal EM blogs are no longer the force they used to be in the FOAMed world – we seem to be evolving towards larger, group based sites – I hope to continue using this forum for personal reflection on the practice of medicine, posting educational materials, and promoting the liberation of medical education that the FOAMed community started several years ago.

EMIMDoc.org  will be getting a facelift over the next few weeks.  In the mean time, FOAMfeeds, the only place where you can follow active conference hashtags and all the leading EM and Critical Care conversations on one page (without any advanced twitter skills), has been updated to include #CORDAA17.  All the other feeds – #FOAMed, #FOAMtox, #FOAMems, #EMconf, etc – remain live and you are welcome to keep up by clicking on the FOAMfeeds link above.

Check back again soon.  Outdated materials will be gone, and new stuff will be showing up periodically.

Thanks, as always, for reading.

~David
